Criteria for Scholarship
Requirements/Qualifications:

Any immediate family member of a current TTDA member OR current TTDA member's employee.

Has applied or been accepted to accredited 2 or 4 year school.

Has maintained a 3.0 or better Grade Point Average on a 4.0 scale.

Submit application to TTDA office no later than February 21st of the year that the scholarship is to be awarded. Applications received after that date will be considered for the next year.

Completed Application packets to include:
- High School/College Transcript
- TTDA Application Form
- Letter of Recommendation from TTDA Member Sponsor.
- Stated Need (optional)
Funding:
Total annual scholarship dollars will be determined by the TTDA Scholarship Committee based on funds available. Total dollars allocated for each individual scholarship will also be based on current scholarship funds available. Individual scholarships will never be less than $500.
Policies:
Repeat applicants are welcome but first consideration must be given to new applicants. All applications received by deadline will be evaluated by the Scholarship Committee to determine eligibility. Selections will be forwarded to the TTDA Board of Directors for final approval.
Applications will be considered based on:
- Complete submittal
- Grade Point Average
- Need basis
- Extracurricular Activities or Honors
Presentation:
To be made at the TTDA Annual Convention. All recipients will be invited to accept in person. Recipient does not have to be present at the convention in order to receive scholarship.
